ANTONIO D. CHARITY | Program Director

Antonio D Charity (130x160)Mr. Charity is an actor from Surry County, Virginia. Antonio most recently appeared in recurring roles on original shows “Get Shorty” @ EPIX and “Bosch” @ Amazon. Antonio also had a part in the feature film “Bumblebee”, the latest Transformer movie. In 2009 he was cast in the play “Black Angels Over Tuskegee” which won an NAACP Theatre Award for Best Ensemble. Antonio has worked as an acting instructor, volunteer and mentor at the Boys & Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and various schools around the country. Mr. Charity is a graduate of Howard University. He is married and father of one daughter. Mr. Charity is a co-founder of The Menformation Project, Inc.

SIR JAMES BAILEY | Curriculum Coordinator

Sir Bailey (130x160)Mr. Bailey is an educator and emerging entrepreneur. For over ten years, Mr. Bailey has served hundreds of children as a social studies teacher, youth-coach and mentor. Sir is an activist for art and education that encourages understanding and empathy.
Mr. Bailey has worked with Earth Wind & Fire; Spike Lee; John Singleton; and others. He has also worked in the post-production, animation, wardrobe and script departments for various Carsey-Werner, PieTown, and Bent Outta Shape television programs. Mr. Bailey graduated from UCLA with a degree in African-American studies and a concentration in Film & Television. Sir is a devoted husband and father of three children. Mr. Bailey is an original mentor and curriculum coordinator for The Menformation Project, Inc.

JAY JONES | Fitness Minister

Jay Jones is a Fitness Minister & Certified Peak Performance Coach whose motto is “A mental transformation leads to a conscious restoration and finally a physical activation of your most successful self.”

Jay puts this philosophy to practice everyday as Inspiration and Owner of Jay Jones INI (Inspiration Not Intimidation) Peak Performance Coaching. Jay is an all-around athlete and was a standout football player at the quarterback position until his career was cut short by a broken neck.

The subsequent physical rehabilitation as well as the mental and spiritual awakening a “near death” experience often creates… inspired Jay Jones to utilize his unique gifts to save the world.

Be a Volunteer Mentor ~ commit to attend 4th Saturdays 9am to 1pm

Be a Friend ~ agree to attend at least one 4th Saturday this year.

Be a Partner ~ agree to donate at least $5.00 per month (buy lunch for a kid).

Be a Professional Mentor ~ after school tutoring [Mon-Fri @ 2pm-6pm]

You can make a world of difference in a boy’s life.
